It is sad that there are not as many movies and tv shows as before 2020, but I feel like things are still going really well. Stranger Things Season 4 came out recently and that was a big hit. I really hope that COVID dies down so we have more awesome tv shows and movies :)
Blockbuster movies get the main share of their royalties from the opening weekend in Theaters. After Covid the theaters lost viewers, movies in-production moved their premiere dates into future so the theaters can regain their viewers, and the movies can get ticket money from. If the movie producers choose a unpopular opening weekend (due to holidays, or covid) the movie will lose its profit potential, regardless of the movie's quality. There is a line-in-waiting of completed movies that are waiting for their premiere dates (the producers do not want to compete and share the viewers with other movies, so no two big premiers on the same date). It's unlikely that future investors will want to wait even longer to get their money returns from already unlikely return.
So, it's very likely that the numbers of new blockbuster movies will significantly fall after Covid.
