This is not something I even want to discuss because to me it is a rediculous situation, and I always bit my tongue. I don't have the power to prevent it. If you have any thoughts of updating or posting free month assets, just don't, so you don't have butt hurt.
When I joined the staff I had heard rumors from users that staff was stealing threads. I always thought they were exaggerating or mistaken, and maybe the person was banned or had dead links and wouldn't fix, and maybe then the staff would take over a thread to keep the threads alive.
I was wrong, when it comes to free month assets. I seen people posting free month assets that were never shared, and then their threads would be taken over by another admin despite those users taking the time to share things that weren't shared before that were available to this admin the whole time. Try as I might to reason with him, and top brass, about how sad this situation is and how angry it made some people who had been robbed their threads, and having them controlled by 1 person who doesn't maintain them, there is nothing I can do but warn you in advance.
If you post any update to free month assets whether there were old versions on the site or not yet anything posted , the thread will be robbed. If you post any free month assets PERIOD, the thread will be robbed. There is many of these threads that are outdated that won't be updated until someone else posts them, and then immediately the updates will be snatched from your hands even if you price them at 1 scrip and mark as free.
